Diamond is the hardest stone, they are safe to be cleaned in the ultrasonic and steam cleaner and can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a firmer bristled brush.

Rubies as long as they are natural stones, are safe to use in the ultrasonic and steam cleaners as well as warm soapy water.

Sapphires are generally untreated natural stones they can be cleaned in an ultrasonic or with steam, as well as using warm soapy water, be aware of any fractures or any treated stones before cleaning.

Emeralds are naturally fractured stones so it is risky to clean them with ultrasonic or with steam, use warm soapy water and very gentle scrubbing with a soft bristled brush.

Aquamarine stones are safe to use in the ultrasonic and steam cleaner unless they contain any fractures or have been filled.

Tanzanites are mostly heat treated stones so avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning, you can use warm soapy water to clean and a soft bristled brush.

Tourmalines are natural coloured stones the best cleaning method is warm soapy water, avoid ultrasonic and steam on these semi-precious stones.
Morganite stones are hard stones, they are safe to clean in the ultrasonic and steam cleaning and can be gently scrubbed to remove any dirt.

Opals are sensitive to heat and can dry out, crack and even lose their colour. Do not use chemical cleaners, only warm soapy water by submerging the opal, do not rub the stone in the water, just gently dry with a soft cloth.

Topaz stones should avoid any steam cleaning and ultrasonic, only use warm soapy water and soft bristled brush.

Citrine is a hard stone and safe to be used in the ultrasonic and steam cleaners.

Garnet cannot be steam cleaned but can be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner unless there are any fractures in the stone.

Peridot should not be cleaned in the ultrasonic and steam cleaner, they can be weakened by cleaning products so only use warm soapy water and a soft brush to clean.

Moonstone should avoid any heat at all as it can discolour the stone, do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners only clean with warm soapy water.

Zircon is a softer stone so should not be used in the ultrasonic or steam cleaned, only use warm soapy water.
